We are pleased to invite you to this fully funded course: ‘Brain Development and Positive Parenting: Five to Thrive as a model for promoting secure attachment’.
The webinar will be broadcast live 13:00–14:30 on Thursday 15 April 2021. If you are unable to attend the ‘live’ broadcast on the day you will receive a recording of the webinar afterwards to watch at your convenience.
About the course:
Helping parents and other caring adults to understand the impact they have on the developing brain of their children can develop responsiveness and confidence. This understanding truly promotes positive parenting and indeed positive caring relationships throughout life. This course will enable anyone who works with children, families and the wider community to integrate this understanding into practice so that they can explain and consistently model the activities that build and maintain healthy brains.
About the speaker and host, Kate Cairns (KCA Training):
Kate is an author, speaker and trainer with an international reputation for her work around attachment, trauma and resilience, particularly in relation to vulnerable children and young people. She has been a social worker for forty years, and a trainer for twenty years.
