The Opportunity Area (OA) has funded an increase in Pinpoint provision for parents and carers in Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.
Pinpoint provides help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with additional needs and disabilities. No formal diagnosis is required to access support. Pinpoint also provides opportunities for parents and carers to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
The Pinpoint website provides a variety of new resources and news of upcoming events. The website now includes all the OA-funded resources and events:
- Handy guides for parents and carers
- IT help during Covid
- Details of upcoming webinars/events for parent and carers on topics including:
- Financial support and guidance
- Tii Hubs virtual drop ins
- Behaviour (STEPs for parents and carers)
- SEND parent/carer courses
There are some sessions that professionals may also find useful and interesting. Please contact the Pinpoint team via firstname.lastname@example.org prior to booking to check the suitability of sessions if you are a professional.
Please continue to share the Pinpoint Can Help flyer, website and upcoming events with parents and carers to they can access this quality support and guidance.
