YMCA free webinars

The YMCA is pleased to offer school staff, parents and carers the opportunity to join a series of fully funded live webinars over the coming months to help support you with the mental health challenges that arise as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The upcoming webinar will explore the theory of wellbeing and look at practical strategies to enhance the wellbeing of children. The webinar will examine the following:

  • What is wellbeing?
  • Why is adult wellbeing important for children?
  • What can we do to help our own wellbeing when we are struggling/in times of stress?
  • Tips and strategies we can use when our wellbeing is low and to help continue being ‘good enough’ caregivers.

The webinars have been divided into two sessions; one for school staff and the other for parents. Please book using the Eventbrite links below (there are two separate links for the specific audiences). Please forward the relevant details to parents and carers in your school and encourage them to participate. Each session will last approximately 1.5 hours including time for questions.
