The Wellcome Trust, the Institute of Physics (IOP) and the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) are seeking state-funded secondary schools to pilot a new set of evidence-based resources for physics teaching.
Participating schools will:
- Receive free high-quality resources and free CPD based on the latest evidence
- Get to co-create resource and adapt them to your needs
- Learn the latest research and how to apply it in practice
- Receive certification for your involvement
Now is undoubtedly a very difficult time for schools. However, many teachers are currently thinking about how to compensate for the effects of school closures. This project could help and make a real difference to science education.
Participation is completely free and will not be burdensome for schools. You will not need to share any pupil data. You can find out more about the project by viewing the ‘Evidence in Action: supporting teachers’ engagement with research’ further information.
