Heritage Arts Projects

Two arts and heritage projects for schools have been co-created and organised by leadership and wellbeing coach, Karin Horowitz, in collaboration with Historic England Heritage Schools and musicians and writers. A small number of part- and fully-funded opportunities are available to schools in Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.

The projects are:

  • When Cambridgeshire Sings
    • Facilitated by three-times BBC Folk Award winners The Young’Uns and involves children writing a song about their school’s local heritage.
  • Just Beneath the Surface
    • Facilitated by musician and travel writer Tom Kitching and involves children developing their creative writing skills as they learn about their school’s local heritage.
