NEW: Collaborative Teaching School Hub Subject Forums – Spring and Summer Terms 2022

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Teaching School Hub has introduced a New subject forum, launching for Spring and Summer terms 2022. Developing strong subject expertise in teachers is one of the key factors in ensuring pupils’ success. The Teaching School Hubs across the Eastern region (Alpha, Chafford Hundred, Saffron and Unity) have joined to launch a pilot programme of subject forums to both primary and secondary colleagues at all stages of their career.

The subject forums are for all staff and coincides with the release of Block 4 of the Early Career Framework which is focused on building good subject knowledge and curriculum.  The hope is that the subject forums will provide a launchpad for new teachers to further develop their practice, as well as connecting them to a wider community of educators and supporting more experienced staff.

As this is a pilot, feedback and observations are welcomed to improve this offer in the longer term.

You can register using the attached pdf below. Once your school has signed up, you will be sent additional information to be circulated to your teachers so they can register on an individual basis; dates, times and topics of sessions will also be provided at this point. The additional information also includes options to register for the curriculum hubs’ subject mastery offers.

The Alpha Hub is organising the sign-up process for this offering. If you have any questions about the subject forums, please don’t hesitate to contact Alpha TS Hub at
